Our campground
Poche Plantation RV Park & Cottages offers a welcoming place to stay along Louisiana’s historic River Road in Convent. Set across 22 acres between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, the property brings together comfortable accommodations, convenient amenities, and genuine Louisiana hospitality for overnight guests, extended-stay visitors, families, groups, and working travelers.
Our campground features 100 full-hookup RV sites with water, sewer, and 20-, 30-, and 50-amp electrical service. With 30 pull-through sites, buddy-site options, and room for RVs up to 68 feet, guests can settle in comfortably for a night, a week, or a longer stay. Monthly utilities are included, making Poche Plantation a practical home base for project teams and professionals working throughout Louisiana’s River Parishes.
Guests looking for another style of stay can choose from 11 furnished cottages and suites, each with a queen bedroom and a kitchen or kitchenette. Tent campers can enjoy dedicated sites with water, electricity, parking, picnic tables, and access to private showers and restrooms.
There is plenty to enjoy without leaving the property. Amenities include a swimming pool, hot tub house, sundeck, recreation house, game and movie rooms, library, guest kitchen, laundry facilities, fenced dog area, pond, walking trails, camp store, restaurant, Pit Stop Bar, and more. Complimentary Wi-Fi and digital cable help guests stay connected, while the spacious grounds offer room to slow down and enjoy the surroundings.
