James B Cunningham Columbus, GA We are an RV Family, traveling with 6 other rigs...Poche was a treasure we found in the 2007 Trailer Life Directory...and we are glad we did...this place is an actual historic plantation home with beautiful landscaped grounds sitting directly on the Mississippi River...All Concrete pads for our rigs, my husband also loved the men's parlor as I did the ladies parlor...RV'ers coming through Louisiana should make this place a must stop...and definetly enjoy the "Dining under the chandilier with the owners giving a private tour of the mansion and outbuildings was an unexpected treat...Saint Michael's next door was beautiful and didn't cost us a thing...great place...keep up the good work...we will be back for sure... |

Darrin & Kelly Kentucky We had a wonderful stay at Poche. We brought my mother in law and nephew and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Breakfast was outstanding and the hospitality was unbeatable. Our rooms were more charming and comfortable than most any other place we have stayed. We look forward to coming back soon! |

Marvin Stokes Idaho
Sorry we did not get to say "goodbye" before pulling out.
We want to thank you for our best RVing experience ever. Both of us will always have fond memories of spending the month at your plantation, eating in the B&B, making new friends and all the good southern hospitality. You really made us feel at home!
We will always keep in touch with your web-site to see all the changes you are making.
Would you mind sending us Mrs. Pat's phone number and an address for Slim Jim . Say "hi" to Chad. He's a great kid! Reminds us of our grandson.
HAPPY NEW YEAR

We found the Poche' Plantation location to be perfect for us, friendly, comfortable, peaceful, just under an hour from the French Quarter and right in the middle of the majority of the plantations we wanted to visit as well. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, breakfast, tour that followed and walking the dog along the Mississippi River where river traffic and ship offloading to barges goes on 24 hrs a day.
Slow right down, the easiest entrance is closest to the Convent yellow post office building bordered by the white fence delineating the plantation which faces the River across the #44 Hwy.

Jerry & Trudy Spray New Mexico and Hawaii Thank you for a pleasant stay. This was the best place we have stayed at in all our travels. The pad we parked on was the best. Mark the owner was more accomodating than any other host we have had. I hope you get bed and breakfest of the year. Your tour of the mansion was great. I do hope you get your Wyfi problem fixed soon, it was the only problem we had. I thank everyone that helps maintain your establishment. Thank you again Mark, Jerry and Trudy Spray via Santa Fe New Mexico and Kona Hawall. |

Comments: Good Morning,
We attended the Ryder/Gildersleeve wedding Saturday evening and had a great time. Everything was perfect and the food great. The staff could not have been any nicer. They answered any question we had and came and went without interuption. I would strongly recommend your place to anyone who wanted to host a function there. It was wonderful and we just wanted to tell you so.
Thank you,
Harry and Patti Abbott email: Patharla@aol.com |

John & Kaken Reed Kerkimer, New York Comments: I found Poche Plantation in the trailer life directory, and made a mistake by only staying for 4 nights. We have never been so completely satisfied with a campground and the area in which it's located. We will definitely head for Poche again, and most likely in the near future. We think Mark and Yvette are great hosts, and there is nothing else to ask for from this pleasant and quiet place ... See you soon ... John & Karen EMail: jreedham@usadatanet.net

Don and Linda Wilson San Antonio, Texas By far one of our favorite places to stay. We are on the road 365 days a year, so we know a great RV park when we find one. Mark is welcoming, informative and helpful. The area is beautiful and so convenient to both Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
We will be "regulars" here. |

Jim Brown Metairie, LA My wife and I go to a bed and breakfast plantation every year for our anniversary - 19 years! Poche is a beautiful plantation home with lovely grounds along the Mississippi River. We had the whole second floor for our night at Poche. There also is a fantastic restaurant at nearby Houmas House. Mark, the owner, was most accomodating and gratious. Highly recommended. |

Darlene & I would like to thank you for a most enjoyable week "chilling" at your resort. We have never enjoyed a stay any more any where else.
Your setting is tranquil, the sites are personal and private and we enjoyed are visits with Prince.
The food in the area was as advertised. The plantations most interesting.
We will be back - hopefully for a longer stay.
Thanks again
Darlene & Walt Pearson
